I am an experienced finance professional who found a passion for software engineering. Upon graduating with a B.S. in Finance from Texas Christian University, I worked for 5 years in the public and private sectors as a financial analyst. I was heavily involved in operations, financial modeling, and valuations.
It was during this period that I discovered programming as a rewarding hobby with an unlimited ceiling for learning. I knew I had to be involved in an industry where I could collaborate with other passionate programmers to develop new broad reaching technologies to positively impact people's lives. After some reflection, I decided to fully commit myself to this field.
As a full stack software engineer, I have enjoyed using Python, JavaScript, React/Redux, PostgreSQL, CSS, HTML, SQLAlchemy, Express, and Node.js in my projects. I am interested in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I am always finding time to learn more.
